I've seen a leftist challenged in a debate to not reference a Marvel movie or Harry Potter in their response to a question and they immediately referenced both.

They're not even anarchist because socialism requires government. Massive government. I do feel like acknowledging there's such a thing as libertarian socialist isn't a good thing because they're completely opposite ideologies. You can't reject the foundation principles of an ideology and still get to claim that ideology. They know saying they're libertarian sounds good because of the association of it with freedom so they're just using the label to confuse young people unfamiliar with the principles behind it.

@CantusTropus There are much more common ones that occur today when it comes to roads. When a new housing development is being built the roads in it are built by the developers. This is especially true in HOAs and road maintenance is included in your fee. The city doesn't just put in a new road. Even in cases where the city does provide the work, the developer pays the city for it. Just like if I purchase a piece of property that doesn't have gas and electricity already run to it, I have to pay to have them added if it had a dirt road and I wanted it paved to protect my vehicles, I would pay for it to be done to my property. Edit: Developers pay for it because a dirt road decreases the value of the property. It directly benefits them to do it.
