You don't get it. It's the wrong people price fixing! Only the government knows what's best. Edit: My autocorrect is being so wrong today.

Not voting for the lesser evil. I'm voting for who I believe will do a better job and who's policies will better benefit me and mine. If I only vote for someone someone who 100% shares everything I believe, I'd never vote. Even in local elections.

He usually does. He'll say Trump's policies are clearly better, but that doesn't make them perfect or the best ever and some of them are bad.

No. FDR was and all his social policies. Once the Supreme Court got bullied and stopped striking down his executive orders. It'll take decades to clean all the up, if ever.

Yes and no. When polled Republicans don't like or trust the Republican party. As weird as that is.

Not true. Studies show leftists are the only group with out group preference. In other words, they put others above the wellbeing of their own group. So if that group is American, they'll vote against it's best interest and instead the interest of outsiders.

If you go back, they've been calling Republicans literally the mustache man since the 60s or so. It used to be done by some outside organizations putting out ads or flyers. Only recently it's been picked up by the legacy media. That's what's been different. It's mainly because of the 24 hour news cycle. When news was just in the morning and in the evening, ratings weren't really important. They were kind of exempt from them. When you're entire cable channel is dedicated to it, ratings become the most important thing. There was even a song about it by Don Henley many years ago.

@fireworkbutterfly Why do people think more parties equals better? The reason Democrats are over the Senate right now is because they formed a coalition with independents. Which means the people that voted for an independent because they weren't affiliated with either party and expected them to vote based on their interest were screwed over. Trudeau didn't win the last vote, but was able to remain in power by forming coalitions. Same currently in France. The voters can say we don't want this guy and vote overwhelmingly against them, and they still retain power. Edit: I believe it was close to 70% that voted for a party other than Trudeau's but he retained power. Overwhelmingly rejected by voters.

Getting tired of correcting this. The reason it was limited to landowners was because that was what proved citizenship. There was no federal agency to report to. It was all handled locally. So for federal elections, since there was no official record, that's how citizenship was determined. It had nothing to do with "human impulses" or as others try to claim, having stake in the game.

Thank you for showing that young people have never been able to be homeowners. Its so annoying to see them complain about sometime that's never been true. Some fictitious time period where an 18 year old could buy a mansion with acres of land. My grandfather built his house in his mid 30s when my mom was 8 after renting a company house that didn't even have indoor plumbing and I've got 20 year olds complaining they can't start a family because they can't buy a home. My parents were shocked we were able to buy our first home in our early 30s.
