The problem with the statement of, "every person supports abortion, immigration, and LGBT rights" is they confuse their definition of those things. They are correct, but not what it means in their head. Most people support immigration, but not illegal immigration. Most people support LGBT rights, but not privileges above everyone else. Same with abortion. Most people support abortion, but not without strict limitations. Edit: There's a reason the boat wasn't rocked much under Roe. It enforced limitations. The Hobbes decision removed them and that's when it got crazy.

@1685Violin There were, but they were different. They were more about we allowed Russia to elect a president. This time there's no plausible deniability with how overwhelming it was. Even the MSM is saying the American voter gave him a mandate.

@baltulielkungsgunarsmiezis9714 If you're libertarian like you claim, you know what you suggest is in violation of the NAP. So why did you even try to insinuate he meant that? Why are you taking what someone you don't knows statement in the worst light possible and to the far extreme? Everything else they listed was to work within the system. To take the last one completely out of that context is extremely disingenuous. Edit: It's also well within libertarian values to allow a community to enact rules they agree upon. It's understood if you don't like them, you're free to leave said community. How is the population of a state voting to enact rules they wish a violation of that? I'll also close with it's odd to think it's not a violation of the NAP to end the life of baby just because it's in the womb. It's okay to commit violence against them apparently.

I'm in Oklahoma. We turned everything red. Even the cities. Natives voted overwhelmingly for him. So far, we're missing a lot of the blame game being levied at minority men.

@TheWolfgangGrimmer I wish Trump had appointed more constitutionalists. If Thomas and/or Alito retires, they need to be replaced with one. They're a strong voice. If we lose that faction, the decisions won't be as well rounded. Edit: Losing the DEI hire would be the best thing for the court, but no way that will happen.

I think after the attempt and the people calling him that said how glad they were it wasn't successful woke a few up. Not anywhere near all, but a few. It was hard to square that circle.

@authenticallysuperficial9874 No it's not. At the founding it was land ownership because that was the only way to prove citizenship because there was no federal or state ID in place. It's constitutional because it's literally IN the Constitution that you need to prove citizenship.

@proudlymartinkay That's funny. Since that's been making the rounds several are now questioning if what was claimed about 2020 was true.

I avoid reddit like the plague that it is, but I did hear about it.

He actually won more electoral votes. The census is wrong. 9 votes should go to red states. They over counted in blue states and under counted in red. It needs to be redone and fixed. New York should lose a couple and California another 1. Meaning he won 322 in the electoral college.

It appears that for Independents, the social issues were important and pulled many over. The economy obviously was the #1 issue, but the social situation pushed many over the edge.
