  1. I’ve never haggled at a small store. An individual selling a product maybe, but not a store. They already are working with extremely thin profit margins. Small businesses make up 99% of the market so what you feel like is true simply isn’t. They’re responsible for employing 61+ million workers. It’s probably because you think of small businesses as just a store. They’re not. Edit: Haggling is expected in certain parts of the world at open markets. It’s not really a thing in the US because unless it’s a handmade unique item, you can simply buy it somewhere else.
