That talking point kills me. Along with the "he's going to have access to all your sensitive data!" Like thousands of unelected bureaucrats don't already. At least I know who he is. That's not even getting into why the government would even have something like my medical records.

Meanwhile his approval rating just keeps going up. Seems to me most people like what he's doing.

@oodragondrew The woman was pretty good too. Her pickle project got cut so now we'll never know how many pickled peppers Peter Piper can pick.

I was trying to figure out why I knew her name. She was the UN Ambassador under Obama. A lot of those projects are starting to make sense. Then appointed over basically a slush fund for pet projects under Biden who didn't have a clue what was going on.

It's hopefully going to go toward the debt. I'd rather my children and grandchildren not be saddled with all that then get a few bucks back.

@RJStockton Pretty much. The way the budget for these agencies works is if they don't spend every cent they're budgeted, it gets reduced the next year. Incentivizing wasteful spending. Agencies like USAID also had zero oversight because what it does is at the sole discretion of the president.

He's a godteir level troll. He's trolled the MSM and Democrats in one fail swoop. Absolute legend.

She was Obama's UN Ambassador and was appointed over USAID by Biden. One hand washes the other and various other sayings.

@jonathanhosh4459 Nope. Especially concerning this particular agency. The funds were at the sole discretion of the president's use. It has zero Congressional oversight. Anything not earmarked for a specific thing is discretionary spending. Discretionary spending is for whatever the president wants it for. That's why Trump was able to divert the Pentagon's discretionary spending to building the wall. There was a whole court case about it. Once the House goes over the suggested budget from the executive branch and the Senate approves it, they no longer have any say in that money.,

The thing about sending rice and stuff to "help" struggling countries is that it destroys local farmers. Nobody is going to pay for what they can get for free. The farmers go under making the country reliant now on the free rice.

Tulsi pointing out that we were funding the very terrorist group we had declared war on just because they were fighting Assad in Syria has had them call her a traitor. In reality, funding them is the government being a traitor to the people.

9:10 Its called workers compensation that anyone laid off is entitled to for 6 months-1 year. China doesn't hold most of our debt. Japan does. It's easy to look up. Trump is attempting to cut as close to 2 trillion from the budget as he can. To either eliminate or at least greatly reduce the income tax citizens pay. Or at least start paying down the debt. Our interest payment on our debt is 1 trillion a year. It's about to be the largest percent of our budget. He's hoping to be able to do both with tariffs making up most of what's lost from removing the income tax. If he succeeds, he'll go down as one of the best and most influential presidents in history. Beside Teddy, Lincoln, FDR, and JFK. I love how they've tried to spin US Agency for International Development as an actual aid agency when it was created by JFK to fight the Cold War. An agency that just gets blanket funding and has zero oversight. Oh the horror that it's gone. As much as I have heard leftists complain about the US engaging in color revolutions, I don't know why they're suddenly defending the agency responsible for them. Edit: I can explain why there's so much wasteful spending. If an agency doesn't use all the money budgeted to them, their budget gets reduced to what they spent in the next yearly budget. That incentives wasteful spending. Then when they're tasked with doing something else, their budget is just automatically increased for whatever they say they need. So if it's a short-term project, their money gets increased, but never decreased once the project is finished. It's an insane way to do the budget.

@jonathanhosh4459 False. There's hundreds of think tanks, cancer research ones, etc. There's only a handful run by large churches because there's very few large religious organizations. This has the same energy as saying most wars were because of religion.

@grumbledore424 Yes actually. USAID paid various "news" outlets that shortly after receiving it wrote stories about gamergate. The money given to Feminist Frequency was after she'd dissolved it too.
