@Opie-hughes Why does a society or civilization choose to propagate certain things especially herbs and spices? 1 is for medicinal reasons, 2 is to preserve food, and 3 is to disguise the flavor of rotten food. The ONLY reason cultures use heavy spices in pretty much every dish is to mask the taste and odor of rotten food. To make it easier to consume. I'm sorry for some reason you don't like that very real fact, but it doesn't make it not a fact.
