Absolutely. It’s going to be ugly. Just like when they started losing before Reagan was voted in. As well as the summer of love worked last time, expect more of that at the very least.

It’s because we’ve been conditioned to want our leaders to be someone we could “have a beer with”. That really kicked off with Clinton and Bush Jr. That was never something voters looked for before that. Strength was the main thing. I can’t recall anyone thinking Reagan was someone they could sit in a bar drinking a beer with or Bush Sr for that matter.

I gotta say, uncle Fester is turning out to be one of the few sane Democrats. Apparently it takes a stroke to make them sane enough to go against the party line.

That’s because the cumulative inflation rate is close to 20%. Saying it’s “down” is just them saying it’s not as high as last year but it’s still way up. Until the money printer stops going brrrr it’s not going down anytime soon. They could increase interest rates all they want, but it has to pull money out faster than they’re adding it and that’s yet to have occurred.

@Lethal_Bite Except there’s a difference in being liked and being strong. Obama was weak asf. There were many times world leaders refused to meet with him. Him campaigning in other countries for the current leaders opposition was never a good look. I think you’ve got some rose colored glasses or were only listening to mainstream when it came to him. They rarely talked about his many diplomatic failures. OPEC called Trump to negotiate for them because they couldn’t agree and convinced them to reduce oil production while we ramped ours up giving us the edge. The Abraham accords, got Kim to stop shooting (Obama ignored him causing him to act more aggressively), etc. I’m sorry but his actual record doesn’t show what’s being claimed. You’re confusing a leader being able to make you believe something is true that’s not and one that showed you it’s true. Edit: If you mean people like the leader of France, yeah he’s the political opposite and like here calls his opposition “far right” and “extremists”. EU leaders have always looked down their noses at the US regardless of who’s leading it.

I’m so sick of hearing “disinformation” and “misinformation”. It’s funny how it seems to be only one side using those words and only when in relation to the opposition.
