The town I lived in has the oldest continuous running oil refinery in the country. Maybe world at this point. The ground it's on is saturated with oil from years ago before good regulations. Some of it seeped into surrounding areas, but it was never in the air. Not even when one of the huge supply tanks full of oil caught fire.

He really is a Wilson. I like that comparison better than Carter. I've seen it a few times but didn't realize he was in the 20s. There is a trend though. It's fitting because Trump reminds me a bit of Teddy Roosevelt.

@thomasm9552 This is correct. I used oil lamps during a power outage when my children were little. They both already had a cold. The lamps caused them to almost go into pneumonia from the smoke and soot coming from them. I've not used them since. They were ones we'd had for a couple generations at that point.

Allergy induced "asthma" isn't really asthma. It's not a disease so there's no real damage to the lungs. The allergies just cause a lung response similar to asthma and it responds well to the same treatment. My oldest had it as a child. It was caused by mushroom spores.

The EPA just got their authority bitch slapped by the Supreme Court. Who do they do more to than a fine when the EPA causes a disaster like the river? Education needs to have a private option available everywhere that you can choose to send the tax money to for the child. Throwing more money at education just increases administrations and doesn't get spent on children. Remove Unions from government employees. The people shouldn't have their voices overridden. I'm pro Union, but they shouldn't mix with the government like that. It's gives them too much power over policies. That was demonstrated during the pandemic when they set the rules for returning to school instead of the local governments. We already passed a huge infrastructure bill. Bills should be single issue. No more omnibus bills. Edit: Your Representative is supposed to go over the bill and vote for you. That's why they're there. That's the mechanism in place so the people aren't spending their time governing. Learn Civics, then you can make recommendations and maybe have them taken seriously.
