  2. I decided to look into it. It was called the Sea of the North. It wasn't widely called Mexico until the mid 18th century. So NOT for 400 years. Mexico comes from what the Aztec called their capital with a Spanish twist. Spain gave it that name. So, in an act of decolonization it should be called the Gulf of America to match the name of the continents that surround it. There's a lefty argument for it.

  4. We'd been noticing. Just our politicians care more about "good relations" then any actual principles. Then again, the ones recently removed from power were salivating for hate speech laws here too.
