There was a guy like this on my previous town's city council. He'd be in front of the courthouse protesting alone all the time, he'd disrupt meetings to grandstand, and was always making statements in the paper. We all just laughed at him. He never accomplished anything for his district but they kept electing him anyway.

@furyfantoo Except Kumar wasn't "talking at" him. He was being ernest and trying to make him understand that once you're in the house the way to facilitate change is no longer protests and activism, but calm discourse and discussion.
