@ddpp8888 Telehealth is fine for things like a UTI. It's not good at diagnostics required for heart conditions, arthritis, and various other chronic illnesses that are common in the elderly. All of which require frequent monitoring. I have a faulty heart valve. Telehealth is completely useless for it.

@ddpp8888 No it's not. It's fine for small things, but telehealth isn't good for chronic conditions which is what elderly have. You're talking about people with memory problems that have to keep their medication in dated and time of day boxes to remember to take it. I can't think of single area that doesn't have free transportation for the elderly and disabled to doctor appointments. It's paid for by Medicaid and Medicare. It's usually a van. If they are unable to physically get around they either have family or a paid caregiver that would be who is responsible for their transportation. You have never been around anyone in that state so are making assumption based on lack of knowledge. Edit: You even tell the one person they're an adult and telehealth will tell them to physically go see a doctor or go get testing done while claiming it's important for people so sick they're immobile. Which is it because if you're that sick, you require regular testing.
