  2.  @Magnum062  Then the owner didn't do it right. You need to be armed, have your deed on hand, and change the locks. As soon as they force it open they're legally breaking and entering at which time you have the legal right to defend your property and person. Welcome to the south.

  4. This fits none of those requirements. No state I've lived in has that. It's many years before they can claim ownership and it requires no taxes being paid for many years for it to be considered abandoned.
