If I go to a doctor's appointment with my daughter-in-law while she's pregnant and hear any of these terms, I'm going off. If someone wants that used during their appointment, they can inform the staff. It's not everyone else's problem.

  2. So, when my kids have a kid, am I now a grand inseminated person? Since I'm obviously no longer pregnant, how am I still an inseminated person? This is why it's a horrible choice of wording. I'm not pregnant forever. I'm not only a mother while pregnant. I'm a mother forever, but I'm not an inseminated person forever. That's not even getting into reducing women to their biological functions.

  3. ​ @user-cu6ii3gv1x  As someone who grew up in the 70s listening to women on TV claiming they're just thought of as their biological functions to see women actually being reduced to that is mind blowing. What women were complaining about 50 years ago, men are trying to make reality today. Then, when you say something about them being in sports, they resort to it being such a small portion of the population it's insignificant. But we've got to change all language to keep this insignificant portion of the population comfortable? The mental gymnastics is exhausting.

  4. I think they changed father to just person or spouse or something. I've noticed the language around men hasn't been changed to bodily functions. Only the language surrounding women. That's why women are saying it's a war against us and men have been largely unaffected. Which makes sense since lawmakers are primarily men. They're not going to do that to themselves, but they will their wives and daughters. Edit: I think somewhere deep in the recesses of their subconsciousness, this is them getting back at feminists. Because this is some of the most sexist, misogynistic language I've heard in my life. Especially sus because it's mostly coming from men claiming they want to be women.

  5. ​ @strong40  I know! An inseminated cow, for example, would only mean you've inseminated them and they need to be checked for pregnancy in a few weeks. My grandmother's family were cattle ranchers. Using it to replace the word mother when you're a mother forever is horrible language.

  6. This isn't about IVF. It's about making men who want to be believed to be females being jealous they can't perform these strictly female functions. So they reduce biological women to their base bodily functions as a way to humiliate them. This is dehumanization of biological females. Edit: The whole you're not a mother if your baby came from a test tube thing was settled decades ago.
