  1. Sorry to tell you, but yes it will have to get much worse. Yes, it will feel similar to living in a warzone. That's my experience from the 80s which we seem to be heading back into for some reason. I lived in a good neighborhood, not fancy, in a small rural town and even we had drivebys happen twice. I was 40 times more likely to be shot at school than it is today. At least I grew up being taught how to defend myself unlike the current couple of generations. Every reason people started to move into cities is being removed so that's why the population in them is dropping. Watch some movies filmed in NYC during the 80s and that's what you have to look forward to. It's gritty, dirty, smelly, graffiti everywhere, all public transportation is extremely dangerous, and people don't go out on the streets late at night unless they are doing bad things.
