  5. That explained a lot to me. I was a substitute teacher and got hired fulltime at one of the elementary schools because I was so good with kindergarteners and dealing with problem kids. If I got them one on one, I could get them to behave and do their work. Actually learn something, rather than disrupting everyone else. I had one girl call me a b*tch. I sent her to the office and they just sent her back. Another boy hit me and nothing was done. That's when I quit. 2 guesses to what demographic they were from. The school ended up being closed and the kids sent to the other 4 schools in town because it ended up being run by the kids instead of the principal. Most of the teachers hated it because they didn't feel like they had any support.
