There have been several uncovered as well that the main reason was poverty and the doctors knew it. If they have something else medically going on, they use that to justify it while still noting the real reason. It's disgusting.

@reecesx DNR isn't eugenics. Most people with a DNR are elderly that have grown children and grandchildren. Eugenics would be removing them from the gene pool, but they've already reproduced so it's not eugenics. Plus it requires them to die first and not be resuscitated. DNRs can have all types of added stipulations. We added feeding tube as an exception to my father's in the medical assistance to live part. Edit: He had a rare aggressive form of stomach cancer that it was about 3-4 months from diagnosis to death. I put one on my mother after her 8th heart attack, 3rd time getting sepsis, and she'd refuses to go to the hospital when her hernia twisted killing part of her intestines requiring emergency surgery. She'd already suffered brain damage from the last time she went septic and she passed away about 4 hours after I signed it from septic shock.

@petyrbaelish1216 They can't push if it's not legal. That's a ridiculous statement. So I should just die because I have complex health issues even though I'll live a near normal lifespan, got diagnosed while my children were relatively young, and it's mostly treatable? What would be the incentive for advancing medicine beyond it's current state? Nothing. So we'd stop advancing as a society. Since the US does the majority of health research the world would stop advancing.
