A wife doesn’t need permission or the husband’s signature to purchase anything. The nanny also testified she did have a car so no clue why she was insisting on taking his. Edit: I also hate to tell you but I’ve told my husband not to go somewhere and he’s told me the same when we could afford one car. That’s not freaking abuse. It’s called being helpful to each other and sacrificing a tiny bit for the other.

  5. Seriously if people saw me and my husband fight in the earlier part of our marriage I guess they would have called the cops if they thought this was abuse. It’s the halo affect society has on women. It’s why they get lighter sentences, the least suspected of being abusers, and stuff like that. People think it’s just not in them. Unfortunately according to stats lesbian couples have the most domestic abuse.

  6. It’s feeling like Dev talking about US law. Sean’s speciality is criminal stuff not contract law. Personally I excelled at tort law in law classes. That doesn’t make me an expert on contract or criminal law.

  14.  @evanthompson4186 Most of the people that “work for Crowder” are interns. They’re there for a certain amount of time to get experience, usually on technical things, to finish their degree and get a job on the behind the scenes technical side of communications. Garret was originally one and then later got hired. He also still has a very good career.

  17. Been married 26 years and there were some good ones right around the 3 year and 5 year mark. I can’t even remember the last time we had one because eventually that ends and you know each other so well you don’t have to.

  18.  @nobodynever7884 You’re confusing a non compete with an NDA. They are not the same thing. An NDA can last forever. Whenever a court settlement is reached an NDA is involved. If the person ever reveals the contents of the agreement they forfeit what they got. Edit: I really want all these sudden legal experts in the comments to go try to pass the BAR. Stop embarrassing yourselves.

  23.  @kevinwalker6840 Barnes goes into it. He doesn’t know Crowder, never been on his show, never even met him. Figures he probably is an ahole because it takes a certain amount of that to be successful. I know her lawyer is the one that ruined Trevor Bauer knowing the allegations were false.
