  1. It does. I made a comment on another similar post that the Rittenhouse team is adding being called a white supremacist and stuff into their provable claims of calling him a murderer in an attempt to do just that. I imagine those claims will get tossed out though.

  2. Because calling someone a racist or white supremacist isn't considered slander/defamation. You have to say something you know is false and it's impossible to prove that so the court doesn't recognize it. Rittenhouse is suing for saying he's a murderer, because he can't over the other claims. I do believe they are going to attempt to get that ruled on to try to change that in the courts though, but they are tossing it in with ones they'll have no problem proving are a lie.
