Southern rock became big again and it was used there as a symbol of our culture. I'm not responsible for what other people do with a flag that never meant what they use it for. It's used now as a bludgeon that I shouldn't be proud of my culture and should beg forgiveness for it while ignoring the same history in the rest of the country. I thought the punishment was over in the 80s as the culture gained wide acceptance, but unfortunately that couldn't be allowed by the powers that be. Edit: I really wish people would stop paying attention to the ADL and SPLC. That they've now labeled the rosary as a hate symbol should clue people in that they're full of crap.

Why do people do that? American Indians are now called Natives because of the big influx of Indian immigrants was causing confusion. If they aren't called Native Americans in an article, they are from the country India.

The tax breaks under Trump didn't "just help the wealthy" unless 80% of the country falls under the wealthy category. Bush's tax breaks of Additional Child Tax credit also didn't only help the wealthy. It gave more money back to poor parents. Bush restructured the immigration process with time limits for each process and streamlining it for families. Unfortunately it was after it took almost 2 years to get my husband approved. Now they have to have a very good reason to hold the processing of a family member beyond the 1 year limit currently in place. Trump allowed people to get their medications from other countries to help with their cost, he got us out of the forever wars Bush and Obama got us into, he removed regulations in the EPA that required citizens to get authorization before being able to dig a well or pond on their own property put in by Obama, he stop ESG from being allowed above profit for investment companies that handle people's retirement funds, etc. Unfortunately all of that was undone on day 1 by Biden. @samuraijosh1595 "Progressive conservatives" is like socialist libertarian. Not a real thing. Conservative means to conserve the status quo. You can't do that and be progressive at the same time.
