  1. I don't think Trump paid for a single one except maybe to fly them there. Democrats didn't used to have to either. I was honestly shocked at how few there were at the DNC. It's usually a rock concert from all the musicians performing.

  4. Keep in mind you're seeing people that orbit the party. They're not high up seeing what's being discussed by the leadership. More importantly, you're seeing mostly the "progressive" wing. I guarantee you the leadership is trying to figure out how to kick them to the curb and distance themselves from them and the far-left by 2028. Exit polling has come out saying the social crap is what really sealed the deal for independents. Nobody can win a national election without us.

  5. They don't really have anyone. The only one that might have had enough name recognition is Newsome. Even California doesn't really want him. They certainly didn't want to run anyone who didn't, but they hope to get to that point by 2028. If they lost, and they likely would have, their political career would be wasted. Edit: RFK was sitting in the wings hoping for an open primary to throw his hat into it, but they wouldn't have picked him anyway.
