  1. I’m from a rural area in south Arkansas. About 20 minutes to the Texas border. When I was growing up they’d come through for seasonal work from farming and leave. Then one year they stopped leaving. Now every new restaurant is a Mexican one where no one speaks English. It’s insane.

  3. It’s not the final decision and it’s based on precedent. Anybody familiar with cases involving the border knew how this was going to go. The final decision, this was just a stay of a previous ruling, might end up different if the justices pick up a paper but if they do change it, it will be a very narrowly written decision to prevent other states from doing the opposite under a different administration. Say California opening up the border under Trump. Edit: The course of action should be impeachment for failure to do his duty, but given the current political climate that won’t happen. Even if some Democrats are seeing the light.
