  1. Putin kills and imprisons political opponents like the left does. He imprisons protesters, there's no free speech, etc. So because Putin doesn't support some things you don't like you, personally, can ignore his many human rights violations, invasions and taking parts of other countries (this isn't the first time by any means), etc. That's a you thing and shouldn't factor into supporting the invasion and attempt to take complete control of another country because it won't do what he wants and only trade with his country. That's what pissed him off and why all this started. Ukraine wanted to be able to trade with Russia AND the EU and Putin didn't want that because he can't compete with the EU financially in trade.

  2. Are you trying to pretend Russia wasn't doing the same thing and aren't today? Plus, how does that justify in anyway the invasion of a sovereign country you have a written agreement with to protect its borders? Edit: An invasion that's been on going since 2014 and has cost a lot of civilian lives I might add. Russia threatening nuclear war, threatening at least 3-4 other sovereign countries with invasion, and you're all "nothing to see here! It's just the fault of the US.
