@spearfisherman308 There are lots of different dates people assign the party "switch" to. However, there is zero evidence of any major party switch. You'll have one or two, but no massive switch. Trying to put significance to a couple switching out of thousands in office is creating a mountain out of a molehill in an attempt to try to score some type of political points. It's like saying Ronald Reagan switching shows a party switch.

@HiddenOcelot SFO has been doing a lot to improve his accuracy. He's listed books he read during his absence and books he's currently reading. They are good choices. It's like me with Critical theory. I torture myself listening to all the trash they teach and my eyes bleed from the poison I'm reading, but I've got to have a very good understanding of it to defeat it.

If you have just basic recent historical knowledge and all you have to do is look at the years to deduce what caused it to flatten out and productivity to rise. Productivity starts going up when women enter the workforce. Then family income flattens out in the 80s. That's when it became the norm for both parents to work outside the home and the divorce rate jumped to it's highest levels. We weren't called latchkey kids for nothing.

@Boe_Jidens_Hair_Sniffing It's not a new law. It's a Supreme court of Canada decision. The poster's sentence was the judge's decision. The decision specifically said that something being truthful isn't a defense. Edit: My husband is Canadian so all this can directly affect us or family so we keep up with it.
