@AndreVeaseyJr They can't unless they can change the Constitution. Requirements for those positions is very clear in it. NYC already lost an attempt to allow them to vote in city and state elections.

What reasonable voter laws? It's already illegal for them to vote. I'm never going to be in favor of the federal government taking more power away from the states like states setting their own voting laws. That's how you end up with mail in only voting or something else just as stupid.

That's exactly what it is. No. We did it once with the guarentee from Democrats that they'd support a strict border policy going forward. That didn't last so no. We did it their way already now it's time to do it tye other way.

Not a rich person and it's not charities, it's government issued phones with data. That was instituted under Obama. Yes I can indeed complain that people who choose not to participate in society, which that is the vast majority of homeless, get luxury goods with my tax dollars. We didn't have those things before Biden either, but too many people didn't care because it was isolated to poorer southern states. Now that it's hit the wealthy cities and states, it's a problem.
