  2. You go after the narrative that is the root cause. When you're told from a very young age that you're bad because your race did bad things, it causes that to happen. Then other people use that to prey upon that emotion. It's a pretty fundamental psychological response. The idea is to stop the first part or try to reduce it's impact. If you don't understand the basics of what's been happening, I'd refrain from making recommendations to people about it. It's called racism.

  3. I'm shocked you'd make such a comment given your other comments. Everything you do isn't an attempt to control things. If it is, you should probably see someone about that. Plus, making fun of and shining a light on an issue does do something. Getting in a car accident is out of my control, but that doesn't mean understanding how they happen isn't useful.

  4. Yes explaining the context, what has happened as far as the case against her, the history of that person making those types of threats, etc totally irrelevant. Oh wait, it wasn't because it's an example of a public outcry about racism that wasn't racism.
