I take an issue with your "driven to violence" bit. The only time some is "driven to violence" is in self defense as in your life is in immediate danger. Not liking a policy of a government, store, person, etc doesn't "drive" someone to violence. It's a choice to commit violence.

That's extremely unlikely. This court case doesn't appear to have had the effect they hoped. Abortions aren't free. If you can't afford to put food on the table, you can't afford to have one. The House will flip. The only question is if the Senate will, but that too is highly likely.

@jessejive117 Every lawyer, and there are lots of them in Congress, knew eventually Roe would fall. It was legislating from the bench. Just like other cases that came before it that were political decisions got overturned eventually, so would it. They had 2 options. Codify it into law, Republicans at points most likely would have compromised on a 1st trimester limit, or not sue a state for a 15 week limit which was allowed by Casey. They funded the lawsuits that overturned Roe.
