Western civilization become most developed during Renaissance period, when primitive stupid religious mindset was replaced by science-centric mindset. Ofc a lot of ppl still waist their mental potential on different stupid things, because it's more comfortable to explain everything through prism or religion/traditions/ideology, instead of science. 19th century science boom was result of developing capitalism and industrial complex=>which provides real economical development and real super profit of resources=>which provides less need of working ppl and gave em chance to become ppl of fundamental science, of philosophy, of applied science=>become more educated and create more educated children to create more developed and rational civilization and lock cycle of progress. That's why china, ruzzia and every another antiwestern course enjoyer will be undeveloped hole of endless dictator regimes - they literally exist in the past and trying to find future in same past
