C B aye, the president at the time was democrat. democrats in congress did resist, only so the republicans could run on cr. you see, democrat or republican, are paid by the same taxpayers. it behooves them to cooperate with each other to rule us. when they wish to harm people, they act divided. when they wish to help someone else at our expense, they unite. it seem that americans will not revolt. they are not the people they used to be.
