She was the best. I used to work out at Jack La Lanne in Manhattan in 1981 and I met Holly Hunter jumping rope to a Donna S cassette. She had just gotten her first play on broadway. Many great disco nights to her music. Her sister was on worship team at a church I attended in Fort Lauderdale. Fantastic voice. I heard she died from side effect so inhalation of 9/11 debris since she lived close by. Got cancer from it

Donna shouldn’t have to apologize for standing up for God. Thats the kind of pressure she probably had if she was a believer. God loves the sinner but not the sin.

Edited out the answer to how she could go to church and do those songs….I heard she wasn’t saved till short time before she died. You can go to church your whole life and never be born again.

@tana5098 absolutely right! I am attacked left and right for my YT comments. I made some comments about Mormonism and one girl is attacking me for not being loving. It is the most loving thing to grab someone out of a cult so they can be saved. She wont even address the unbiblical Mormon doctrines. They will attack you personally-the messenger. Yes, we are sojourners in a strange land, Thank you for your comment to me, I am getting worn out from this world-it was encouraging to read this this morning. BTW, Donnas sister was part of worship singers in my former church. She had an amazing voice. I heard she also passed away a few years ago. Ephesians 1:3….much love and keep sharing the gospel to a lost and dying world.

@tana5098 yes I agree. People make excuses for their sin. Rather than be convicted by it. people think Christians are “holier than thou”. A true Christian knows that they are wretched sinners saved by grace. I’d omit that rainbow emoji bc it denotes something other than the promise God made to Noah! Praise God for saving the sinner by grace through faith. We could never be good enough to earn salvation.

@tana5098 the rainbow is a sign after the flood that God would never destroy mankind by rain / flood again. Now it’s a sign of gay pride.

@Hgood1 thats always been a big problem in the church. When Paul mentions this he says “Such were some of you”…so he is urging the church to come out of the sins which seperate them fro God. Habitual sin. To be honest if we are saved by grace and sealed then if we fall into habitual sin it should not affect our salvation. And we will come back to God. And repent. Its been one of those subjects thats hard to reconcile. God never wants relations outside of marriage because when the “two become one” its a marriage. Also the married were on average 15 at that time so the chances of multiple partners were nil. Also the Jews has the Torah and moral law. So they knew this from an early age. This is one of those subjects that are difficult but still God doesn’t change. Its for our benefit and it makes relations about a commitment not a pastime.

@Hgood1 It’s never about the person. Its about the influence of the religion on the person. The people involved in cults were brought up in it. And the unbiblical practices. They are usually innocent bc they have no idea that what they believe is not the truth. Jesus said “if the world hates you remember they hated me first” John 15:18 IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY. It is always done in love. And it is never about the person. Its like walking past a house on fire and not wanting to rescue those inside. Most people don’t want to learn and become defensive. I did. I never took anything personal when someone who knew the Bible well would point point out errors to me. I was grateful. Few are going to be willing to learn.Its human pride. If you followed the Lori Vallow case she was involved in Mormonism before she went off the deep end. If someone is going to say she was in a religion that was a good religion with good moral people I will disagree. I pointed out only 3 things that Mormons teach that is not biblical truth:(here I listed 6- some are connected to one another) 1- Jesus is Lucifers brother- that is wrong - Jesu sis God 2. Mormons will be the gods of their pwn planets- False- men do not become God. 3- Mormons teach that God was once a man- False- God was never a man. 4- Mormons believe their are billions of Gods in billions of solar systems and planets False there is only One God. 5- Mormons believe that God the Father physically came down to earth and had s-x with Mary-False- this denies the virgin birth. ^- Mormons deny the diety of Christ and His plan of salvation. That is all I do. They should be willing to look at this and see if what they believe is correct. I NEVER attack any people. Except their false prophet Joseph Smith- a child sho supposedly found some gold plates somewhere- and thus rewrote the Bible. There is nothing more loving that pointing someone towards the truth.
