  1. I am sorry you don’t have a dad like this. I didn’t either . But you have father in heaven who loves you more than any earthly father ever can. Talk to HIm and get a bible and read the book of John as a start. You will know how much your father in heaven loves you. I did that and my life was changed. I am typing this with love bc I know how you feel. As loving as this dad is, he is still a flawed human being as we all are. As a mother I know I could have done better myself…

  2. I am truly sorry but you are right. Only God can give us peace to endure the pain of our trials. He is with us. And these children are all with Him under His care. They have no memory of the horrors we are hearing about. Their families though are suffering here in this life without them.

  4.  @lindseyd734  God allows evil to exist. From the beginning we have Cain and Abel…. He gave us the will to choose Him or the opposer of God. we are all sinners and thus fall short of perfection. There is only ONE who is sinless…. David murdered the husband of the woman he committed adultery with. Paul was killing Jewish believers in Jesus…they both became strong men God used… David wrote all the Psalms. You may remember psalm 23 which is spoken at most Jewish funerals, Paul write all the letters to the churches hence most of the New Testament. How God works out evil for good will never be understood in this life. He uses evil to show his power, but that doesn’t mean he creates it or is responsible for it. This subject is the reason why most people will not come to God. It’s the issue on the sovereignty of God. It takes much study to understand or try and understand Gods sovereignty over the universe. There is eternity which is forever. Much longer than the limited time we have on earth. God will use tragedy to draw others to Himself bc we have nowhere else to go and realize we are powerless to help ourselves. As I watch these testimonies of parents, I cry along with them and know their hearts are broken. And I pray for every one…for comfort and peace…which is so difficult.
