  6. Yes Angela- But she didn’t move to Miami, she moved to Coral Springs, to the family home for a year before moving to Miami. Coral Springs to south Beach is 50 miles, about an hour away.

It’s incredible that court TV and Vinny jumped on this case bc soon it will be more well known, yet they seem to have no real education on this case like we do! Could you imagine that we all have to come on here correcting court tv? Don’t they have people watching the trials?

  8.  @jackiec9285  Wendi claims they were in counseling and she told him she wanted a divorce. He may have thought she wouldn’t do it. The surprise I am sure was to come home to divorce papers on the bed with most stuff moved out. Dan Markel had every right to raise his kids as his ex wife did. No father should give up his kids to a 7 hour drive to see them. When she didn’t get her way, the hire for murder was planned.

  15.  @aalegalfocus When is someone handling the YT channel going to either read the comments or learn about the facts of this case? No mention of the hearings that were coming up in August. Now bc I posted about WA’s podcast, my account may be deleted. I had a severe warning. Maybe a family member is reading these comments. It’s interesting that first she says they don’t know who did it, then “likely” professionals….months before any arrests…

  16.  @sionnach3104  thats a very harsh comment to someone just pointing out the FACTS of this case. Skeetergirl has been one of the FIRST to follow this case by the way. Aren’t you interested in the facts? Isn’t the court interested in the facts? Aren’t the facts what gets someone convicted? The facts are that Dan himself spoke to his best friend, a fellow alumni of Harvard, on June 3rd, celebrating her birthday by goign out to dinner with her,that he had something in store for Wendi at their next court appearance. Guess what? He didn’t make it. He filed a motion on February 2104- he was killed on July 18th-the first attempt was June 5. The court date was July then changed to August bc of an attorney issue. If you don’t know the facts of this case, then LEARN and be happy that someone is helping you to learn, bc it takes a LOT of time to learn the facts of a case.

(So she could NOT see crime tape. 2nd trial She claimed she DID turn onto Trescott and saw crime tape (4 doors from Dans house) THIS trial- she claimed once again she DID NOT TURN onto Trescott, so she could NOT see crime tape. Have you watched the other two trials? Have you even seen the current trial?

  22. I ran in the late 70’s to 80’s and I used to run around the reservoir in Central Park. Even in broad daylight I was always afraid someone can sneak up behind me. Sometimes I would wonder if I could outrun them and it gave me adrenaline to run faster. I would have never run at night though there. (There was a runner murdered there),And I would have never run in a secluded area in a rural area. No air buds in my running time. You just got into your head with thoughts. It is frightening that the music you are listening to will drown out the sounds of anyone approaching you. Walkman’s were invented early 80’s I think. Cassette tapes and earphones. Hard to run with them and the radio was difficult to run with.

Its a small community of people. Bc of the family connections, the media hasn’t put the case out there much. 20/20 did a piece.

  29. Why does court TV continue to keep stating that he died over a custody battle? The custody agreement was already decided. Praying for the Markel family for the upcoming trial. I pray also that the Markels will be able to have a REAL relationship with their grandsons. If Wendi is reading this..how could you?

People call each-other Fiancé now when they are living together with kids with no intentions of marriage. So anything goes. And yes, “partner” is the new word. It used to be boyfriend, girlfriend, fiancé or husband/wife.
