They are saying the issue with Markel case was custody…It shows that the producers and even staff have not put the time in to watch the trials nor have been watching the channels we have!!! Wendi Adelson got 2 million in life insurance and 4800.00 a month from her ex’s social security plus more $.

She had big dreams … city girl… social standing, rich boyfriends…. South Beach. 2 million dollar condos, living the highlife with her mortgage paid by her murdered husbands social security.

  8. Yes Angela- But she didn’t move to Miami, she moved to Coral Springs, to the family home for a year before moving to Miami. Coral Springs to south Beach is 50 miles, about an hour away.

It’s incredible that court TV and Vinny jumped on this case bc soon it will be more well known, yet they seem to have no real education on this case like we do! Could you imagine that we all have to come on here correcting court tv? Don’t they have people watching the trials?

  10.  @jackiec9285  Wendi claims they were in counseling and she told him she wanted a divorce. He may have thought she wouldn’t do it. The surprise I am sure was to come home to divorce papers on the bed with most stuff moved out. Dan Markel had every right to raise his kids as his ex wife did. No father should give up his kids to a 7 hour drive to see them. When she didn’t get her way, the hire for murder was planned.

  13.  @AngelaGrace2  yes- people get bent out of shape that I correct that. It started at the trial. She was asked about leaving Tally and moving to Miami. I know…Im crazy to have that bother me…haha. I live in Coral Springs and I know how far Miami is. Miami is a big city- Coral Springs is a suburb. On a good day its an hour away-especially South Beach. With traffic it can take way over an hour. Different county. And worlds apart. PS what do you mean by furtherance of the plan? The family home was sold In August of 2015 (don’t hold me to the month-Im almost sure), so they were living in that home for a year. The details of the rented ICON verses when they bought their own condo escapes me right now. I used to have all that info in my head…lol.

  15.  @tiahbawa5771  Im assuming where Wendi went to school when she lived there. Maplewood elementary. Wendi lived in a subdivision called “Maplewood Isles”. The timing of the sale of the home coincides with her having to enroll them in 2015 when they all moved to S Beach after selling the family home.

  16.  @tiahbawa5771  Right-Wendi was asked about whether the life insurance was in her name on the stand by GC. She implied it was before the divorce which would have been the obvious case. She was able to withdraw I am sure for private school, Bar Mitzvahs etc. So yes that definitely helped her! And gave her kids a nest egg she would have had to provide for them. The 4800.00 a month from his social security would have paid for a nice condo mortgage 8 years ago when homes and condos were half what is is today in 2023. Wouldn’t you love a 750K condo without a mortgage? And yes, Shelly is in charge of the kids $. And to correct you. She didn’t lie on the stand about not getting any money. She said she got 1 million for the kids when it was 2. Georgia got her on that.

To watch both trials, watch all of JL interviews with LE, Wendi’s 6 hour interview, LR’s interview, is very , very, time consuming, And I’m sure they haven’t seen what we have seen….multiple times. I remember when Ted Jansen was on STS early on, he made some wrong comments about the case. The same with Mark Geragos. But they are the “famous” ones, so they get the air time.

  18. The Markel murder was not about custody. They had joint custody. Do the producers or even the staff watch any of the channels covering this case?? Its as if you are jumping on this case bc people will soon know more about it. And you will get more views. once again THE MARKEL CASE WAS NOT ABOUT CUSTODY ISSUES!!

  19. Not true. Vinny is unaware that custody wasn’t the issue in the Markel case. That was already settled. It was about murder AFTER the courts awarded joint custody and the family wanted him out of the picture.

  23. I often wonder in the Markel case (I’m very familiar with)…if there wasn’t 2 million in life insurance and 4800.00 a month from his social security…if the murder would have happened. I think the financial gain played a role, though not totally. So you bring up a good point of motive.

  26. Many believe Donna will be arrested prior to her sons trial in October. There may be many things going on with the state and evidence(hopefully) that will implicate Wendi enough to arrest her as well as her mother. Witnesses, phone records, etc. If you have watched Carl Steinbeck he believes theres enough on Wendi and he seems to be the only attorney who believes that. The state prosecutor is a low paid employee and doesn’t get paid for overtime. They have one chance for Wendi and Donna and they want to be certain I’m sure…

  28.  @Globelle  the point is that the custody was already settled int he divorce. The murder was not about custody. It was about her withholding assets in the divorce and her mother badmouthing her ex to the kids. Both hearings were coming up in August, delayed from July,. He was originally going to be murdered in June. It didn’t happen. Then one of the attorneys changed so it was delayed till August. She could have lost her license. Her ex was on to her.

It looks like its no longer on Fanci’s playlist -maybe she transferred t onto Patreon? Do you remember if the Mother’s Day “lobster fest” was at the ICON or at Charlie’s house? She stated Charlies house but I seem to remember it was to be at the ICON with Dave and his kids and also mention of June being there (but late bc she had a tryout for the Dolphins). Takes time to learn about the case Fanci Fiction, Judy the YouTube lawyer, true lifestyle and Mentour lawyer have covered the case in depth. They were divorced. They split custody but the ex wife Wendi wanted the kids to move to S Florida, be near her parents, change the kids last names and basically wipe their fathers off the map… Miami was 7 hours from the father in Tallahassee. She hid assets during the divorce, (allegedly)her mother bad mouthed the father in front of the kids. There was a court hearing coming up in these issues filed by the father in August 2014 A hit man was hired He was killed July 2014, before the hearing in court. Very sad. The brother is going to be tried for hiring the hitmen in October It’s been 9 years and so far only the hitman, his friend and the baby momma of the shooter are behind bars The family are co conspirators. Start watching the trial! There’s a lot more I can say but it would be very long to read.

We wrestle not against flesh and blood (people), but against principalities and power in high places.. Many have a “form” of religion…but not a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus is not obligated to comfort anyone who rejects Him.

  35. You are right bc Vinny is uninformed about the Markel case. Custody was settled, but the mom wanted to move 7 hours away and the court denied it. Murder was the only option for her family.
