Why does court TV continue to keep stating that he died over a custody battle? The custody agreement was already decided. Praying for the Markel family for the upcoming trial. I pray also that the Markels will be able to have a REAL relationship with their grandsons. If Wendi is reading this..how could you?

Why make a bill that doesn’t apply to her situation and hasn’t helped her personally? I don’t get it. I wont make accusations bc people get all heated, but since Im suspicious of motives-could it be someone did this to put a feather on their cap for political reasons? Did Karen say to Ruth she will make a bill for Ruths situation or did Ruth know from the start this bill shouldn’t benefit her? And was only for incarcerated mothers? Perhaps Ruth believed Wendi would be soon incarcerated..can’t read her mind. (Of course its great for other grandparents and I recognize that) The interviewer doesn’t know this. Because she is congratulating her for getting a bill passed that helps grandmothers like her. Excuse me for getting upset, but doesn’t court TV do their homework? Why couldn’t Ruth pass a bill for her own situation? Maybe someone can help me with that. The bill states that INCARCERATED mothers of murdered fathers, cannot keep the kids away from their grandparents. Wendi is NOT incarcerated so the bill basically did nothing for Ruth except put a bit of pressure on Wendi.

The prosecutors office I guess doesn’t believe he they enough on Wendi to try her. I hope there may be evidence the state is saving…otherwise she will continue to enjoy her freedom as she has been doing for 9 years.

Well she drove by the murder scene, saw 9 police cars in front of his house, including 2 on his driveway. She’s claimed she thought it was a tree down. There was yellow crime tape blocking off the street 2 houses away from his.. Would you not ask the officers what’s going on at you ex husbands house? First trial she denied even being on that street. Second trial, since an officer saw a car just like hers do a 3 point turn , she had to admit she was there. Do you think that suggests guilt?

@CBMcDI no the murder happened because in August they were both to appear in Court bc Dan filed two motions. !. Wendi withheld 500,000.00 in marital assets during the divorce settlement (he found out about ) 2. Her mother was calling him stupid in front of his kids and his kids said “Grandma hates you”. Those were the issues at hand and no one is bringing that up. She could have lost her license to practice law bc she lied to the court as an officer of the court. THESE are the issues. Watch detective Isom on the stand he states the custody was settled even before the divorce was final.
