@noreengardner1075 It’s the parents decision on whether they want to help th more needy kids. This dynamic is not unusual in families. I have seen it with mine and my husbands.

@kimberlyprice4803 it was interesting when Amanda said she didn’t know why they got that house. Melody was high maintenance. Sometimes working just for a house makes a father sacrifice his own kids wellbeing.

She said We all got new cars” but that wasn’t true. Perhaps the state atty didn’t call her on it bc her brother wasn’t telling the truth. Airing unnecessary dirty laundry.

@tmcurly Seems the father was too busy working to give the mother all the material things she wanted, Then she cheats on him. So he buries himself further into his work. Probably didn’t have the drive to invest in his kids. Sad all around.

@tmcurly I’m hesitant to say this on a live chat. Because not every person is a professional. But I agree. Usually parents who are professionals encourage their kids academically.

@k1nglou596 so why did the state arrest Melody? She could have shot him in let’s say the arm, and then made him walk to the burn pile then shot him from behind (rib bullets). She calked Scott back to the farm imo after she already did it. The only person she cried for on the stand is Amanda. Or she used the tractor. Even Scott wouldn’t be able to drag his father from the house to the burn pile.

@k1nglou596 yes they are not saying she shot him in the arm. I am saying that bc it wouldn’t be a shot of death and he could have dripped (drip marks) and also he could have walked to the burn pile if she had a gun pointed at him.

@ so why did the state arrest Melody? How about when she told Rusty the night of the murder “He’s on the burn pile”? (Before they found him) I think Scott knew melody did it and he was trying to protect her. There is no evidence he did it
