The nerve of him to even take the stand
249
Especially in the cult they follow.
84
So I’d like to know what psychotropic pharmaceuticals he was on which are making kids nowadays, deranged and violent
76
She also said she didnt get onto Trescott, the road Dan Lived on, bc there was tape (as if as a lawyer she didn’t know it was crime scene tape). The tape was way into the road, so she couldn’t have seen it from the road she was on (Centerville). She lied
38
Brian is an excellent guest. He needs his own show.
29
He’s a knucklehead…lol that was a term my father used.
25
marvelheroes Its a cult. Not a church. Denies basic tenets of the Christian faith.
22
@laurenmay2098 right some of them are adults now. And how did he not know how much that Youtube channel generated. I don’t buy it. By this interview, he is painting the husband perfect. Time will tell.
22
She was able to manipulate men bc she was an attractive woman. It does seem as though Chad’s a bit of a dufus-he probably couldn’t believe an attractive woman would be that interested in him. And she used flirting with him to draw him in. I agree I don’t think he would have been the initiator. Except for his crazy cultist philosophies. In thatrespect she was brainwashed by him.
19
He’s actually very clever in his trapping…but offensive and arrogant
16
@Funshine4u she said there was only one child in the house. So she had to know right?
16
So, they had a difference of opinion and he just leaves the kids with her? So what exactly was the “difference of opinion”? That seems to be the most important question. I was thinking today of how hungry my son was at 12 going through puberty and growing. He ate all the time. Must have been torture for that boy to be so hungry, and denied food.
16
The family of housekeeper says god meant for this to happen. Maybe her foundation is better for the family. BC the son doesn’t sound that angry. I’m surprised the insurance company isn’t asking for the money back.
15
Such a Godly, wonderful Judge. So sad he lost his own son 8 months ago, 2 months before the Murdaugh trial. Can’t believe he could hold it together.
15
@DogGoneDayz you dont put items in a store in your own bags until you pay. You put them in the shopping cart.
14
Surprised Angenette didnt pick up on that and comment on it.
14
How do you force someone to do something like that? Did she just like the $? Who would accept what she did? She could have just walked away in those 10 years. I’m not blaming her, but if it happened once—it didn’t have to happen again.
13
@DJBarton-j4z pretending along with his wife that she was from Spain and getting on talk shows lying about this,
13
Chad told her what her gifts are. When you have real spiritual gifts from God, YOU know about it. This case gets crazier by the day. ‘They don’t talk about being the god of their own planet one day which is a teaching in Mormonism. A crazy, crazy belief. PS she says her gift is “gatherer”. There is no spiritual gift biblically with that title. An evangelist shares the gospel. She was leading people to death.
13
And say he had some “spiritual awakening” in church all the while not admitting he killed a man…just crazy Another one who gives Christianity a bad name. Mike Williams parents lived in a trailer, using all their money to send him to Christian school, and get into FSU, just to hang around these crazies…who would murder him. How sad for his mother. Public school may have been better.
13
If you watched the Jodi Arias trial, Jodi did the same with a witness her victim dated. She was seething with jealousy.
12
The family is probably reformed baptist, because they believe in the sovereignty of God and believe this happened for a reason (an attorney stated the family has said this so I’m not making it up). In the end, God does allow things in life, and it’s a very hard pill to swallow. I’ve wrestled with mans actions/versus Gods sovereignty for decades bc it makes God seem unfair, and even cruel. Mans choices plus Gods sovereignty work to accomplish his plans. It doesnt in any way excuse mans decisions…Romans 8:28 explains it better. But the family seem to have tremendous faith in this. Im thinking that Gloria, being a solid Christian may have had discernment to figure out things she may have overheard, found , etc and may have been trying to witness to this family since the boating accident. Only her kids could tell us that.
12
@pumibel1720 exactly. They are casting out evil spirits and don’t recognize it in themselves.
11
It’s the re-lig-ion they belong to.
11
Total cringe. After her disaster with Gwynneth, she’s at it again with no embarrassment of the same behavior. I’ve never seen anything like it.
11
Yes like did you know your father was impotent? Insane line of questioning but want the jury to hear his medical history.
11
@margaretlee-reed814 your comment is 2 yrs old and I’m surprised no one has answered. The dinner the poster is probably referring to is the dinner celebration between Charlie and Wendi in Miami. The one in which she threw up at the dinner table claiming she hadn’t eaten in a month or had a drink thus the excuse for vomiting. She was questioned about this dinner on the stand. She claimed it wasn’t a “celebration” dinner. It happened if I recall a month or so after the murder when she was already relocated to Miami with her kids.

Isaiah 5:20 King James Version 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
10
@please.665 Unless she lies and it can be proven. Georgia explained this on an interview. So the point was to catch her in lies…no immunity for those questions.
10
I don’t think they knew at the time it was her car. She admits she drove by and saw police tape yet thought it was a tree that fell! The prosecution should have came down harder on her for that. Who drives by their house, sees police tape and thins it’s a tree fall?. I’m watching this again after her last testimony recently. This had few views and many following the case don’t know about this. You would think she would have wondering if her kids were ok etc IMO this is a huge red flag that she knew precisely the time to visit what she knew would be a crime scene.
10
I think finding out she wasn’t the beneficiary of the life insurance policy, she went crazy…. she had the easy life with Charles. So who are they saying killed the kids? Alex? And the burning and dismembering?
10
@athomewithhollie bless your heart.. I know all about it. If he was not a millionaire, I doubt she would have stayed.if he held a gun to her face or threatened her life, then yes she was a prisoner.

Satan
9
@glamdolly30 she was held to account when she gave her motorcycle keys to her boyfriend and his friend, when she knew they had 4-5 beers each and one died..that should have been a wake up call and the producers of Rust should have known about this when checking her out. That was one year before the movie. Her insurance paid 50K to the family of the one who died.
9
@loopy1159 Did you see the Netflix doc? Doesn’t paint Maggie in a good light. Suggests she was an alcoholic or maybe that was just my take since theres foot age of her acting drunk.. Both she and Alex gave underaged kids alcohol in their home and boat…not good.
9
Yes the day before her ex is murdered…she doesn’t know where the kids slept. Also lying about seeing a road block from v=Centerville road —which was impossible since her husband house was at least a half a mile into Trescott. She changed this answer at the next trial.
9
@BecciBuck the best thing for anyone is to get excommunicated from that cult.(of course I’m talking about non-murderers)
9
@Gridgette He’s talking about the lawyer,
8
Lol he said Jehovah witnesses instead of Mormons. Another cult.
8
Donna says on a tapped call to Charlie that Erica wants to keep her job. Crazy…
8
@kathleenk7170 a good thing she didn’t enjoy her wedded bliss with him that long.
8
@jerryrobinpendleton5171 you make a good point. How do they know she tripped on the dogs if they weren’t there? And how did they know she tripped FORWARD? Especially no camera.
8
How she maintained a friendship, after Denise took her husband…and she really is an accomplice since she knew ..or is she just pretending that she knew what happened?
8
@kallista5194 he’s being painted by his attorney as an innocent bystander. If he’s proven to not be to blame, at least the kids will have one parent if she’s incarcerated.
8
@Maria Morrow could you imagine a mind that devises ways to steal from others like his?a monster.
8
@HD_Diesel_Mechanic Its hard to imagine how this was going on for as long as it did. I didn’t watch all of this but is she saying that the checks were “missed” bc these were “extra’ settlement checks that all these clients didn’t know about? I dont understand how all this money-millions can go undetected.
7
@shrekxrohankishibe Daybells. Same religion.
7
@deannanorris03 I am saying that after the first time a woman is violated, they have a choice. I knew my comment would get backlash. I’m 66 years old, I’ve been around the block … babe.
7
This was the only witness imo that helped the prosecution. The prosecution imo royally messed this case.
7
@Rae777 A PERFECT STORM.
