He did?? I’m a Jew who found Jesus 28 years ago. I hope more Jews come to him-the Jewish Messiah. But he is defending homosexuality. God loves all sinners but we are not to support sin. Are you saying that bc he said “a come to Jesus moment”, he found Jesus? Its a phrase many atheists use

@DeadStreamFarm It’s not description. It’s what Jesus says. He says you can KNOW that you have eternal life. That is precisely why he died.

RedPaintSpray Ok I didn’t catch that. There is no salvation in that system bc the church pronounces an anathema on anyone believing they can have salvation in Christ before death. It in the Catechism. They promote purgatory

RedPaintSpray It is what they are TRUSTING in. Not that a historical figure died on the cross for sins, it is what you BELIEVE about that and sadly, they believe in that PLUS their own “works” , sacraments. The teaching on purgatory denies the finished work of the cross. The gospel is not shared and sadly people can live their entire lives and not know this. I know bc my in laws are all RC’s and they all have no assurance that when they die, they can go DIRECTLY to heaven, based on what was done for them on the cross. And the truth is , they can die tomorrow without that assurance. The Apostle Paul died a horrific death coming against false teaching. So did all the others that were willing to die as Martyrs for defending the faith.
