Megyn seems to believe this is Ok “nowadays”. This is what happens with a good looking , influential man, and morally bankrupt men and women. Jesus is the answer. He convicts of sin and offers salvation.

Just all around a morally bankrupt man. I looked him up last week and found all that. Trumps failings don’t compare. Surprising you are making that comparison. It’s a matter of conscience. You are explaining it away Megyn as being a part of the times? Has this happened in your marriage?

You mean , are sinners? Yes, but some in high positions have more accountability. We have to assume he is not a follower of Christ by his behavior. I hope he gets right with God but we still don’t need this kind of serial cheating/ s-xual deviant behavior.

@ I don’t care who is “religious”. And I am a “Saint” (which means someone who put my trust and faith in Christ and His sacrifice) bc every believer is addressed as such by the Apostle Paul. You are speaking of the Catholic Church. And just last night at a cocktail party, talking about Jesus with someone I said I am not the example. But I take my marriage vows seriously. And I have not broken up a family. Have you?

@ people rarely think about the kids. It’s all about fulfilling “self”. At my age I have seen many marriages destroyed over adultery and the kids suffer. They have enough to suffer about. He needs to get help for s-xual addiction. Any woman who has been cheated on knows this can destroy a family.

This is not an issue of consenting adults. This is a married man who taints the Presidency with his serial cheating on his wives and children. Yes children are harmed by a father’s behavior.

@ Yes, heartbreaking. I am 67, and I have several friends and also friends of friends who have been devastated by their husbands cheating. And it isn’t just a “one night stand”. In South Florida there are many young girls looking for sugar daddies who will Botox, and implant them. If they have money. It is very sad for older women have their husband leave them after all those years of being faithful wives. Most men cheat so this won’t be an issue for them. And yes women cheat too. It’s a morally corrupt society and only Jesus can change the heart if one diligently seeks Him. I am sorry for those kids. Sadly, men aren’t thinking about their kids when lust overtakes them. Because they are not seeking to be faithful -they are following their lustful desires

@jdl2180 30% of all men cheat. The cheaters will make excuses. I suspect every man here defending him has cheated. I am not accusing the commenter, I just see lots of comments here saying it’s not an issue. So I guess 30% of the male population has cheated, is cheating, and it empowers them to be more successful at their careers?

@EastonPeterson God had to deal with King David when he cheated with Bathsheba. A morally bankrupt man is no use to God or anyone else. Psalm 51 is Davids repentance -Then, God was able to use him again.

@ I guess you don’t know the Bible. 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 New Living Translation (NLT) It isn't my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.” _______ We are TOLD to judge those who profess. This man claims to be a Christian. The people we CAN’T judge are non believers. Seems maybe you have a similar sin? EVERY epistle of the Apostle Paul (his letters to the churches) begins with “to the Saints in…”. Saints are sanctified believers in the Lord. Not what the Catholic Church suggests. They are the redeemed.

@ lol I never use that translation but it’s much easier to understand and better for non believers Actually I have been doing research on the NLT and it’s better than the NIV I only use the KJV myself So regardless of the translation what does it say about judging those who profess?

@ I do t know how old you are, I have kids in their 30s and saw a lot of hypocrisy in the church they grew up in. The reason is because when their mother tried to call out leadership she was thrown the door Christ didn’t die so we can ruin our testimony to other with habitual sin. Look Up John MacArthurs teaching on the subject Sin taints the church. So why would you be defending a habitual sinner ?

@ well in this case he is an extremely good looking man and has the physical attributes in addition to money. And they both are morally bankrupt and did it for the excitement of getting away with it . Her kids and husband were in the hotel. I’d say that is a morally bankrupt woman.
