  1. Nice job adapting to the conditions. It's not easy working 'over the edge' when you're that high off the ground. It takes some getting used to it. Glad to see you're prioritizing safety over doing things the 'easy' way. Thinking is always faster than assuming or guessing, in the long run. Two suggestions to consider: Add a few support brackets under that 2x4 ladder extension and don't put any weight on it until it is well braced. As others have mentioned, perhaps you can find some nice decorative ones made out of steel to add style points to the cabin. And, screw the roof plywood to those braces you added along the gap to tie everything together nice and solid.
