Excellent job of straightening out the tent. I winced when you had your fingers between the two pieces of wood while you were knocking the wedge into place. Please be careful putting fingers where they might be pinched or crushed if things fall off the jack. It could really ruin your day. Safety first when you're that far from civilized medical care. Might want to consider measuring the gap and wedging a larger piece of wood in there too. That small wedge piece you used might split in colder weather where a (several?) longer piece of log/branch would hold together better. A single wedge means you are one unexpected event from system failure. Try wedging a couple backup pieces in there too. It will be a lot harder to fix things once temps drop below freezing and everything is covered with a foot of snow. As always, awesome shots of nature's beauty. And now we know what the phrase "smoking hot pants" means. ;-) Maybe next time you can take a set of comfy PJs to leave at the tent for "emergency apparel" to wear while drying out the wet stuff.
