  1. Some first rate learning going on Jay. Good job with all the overhead work on the roof. I think your idea of some sort of roofing is a good one to keep rain and snow off the plywood. Consider putting some sort of water barrier on top of the wood and under the roofing, even if it's just a plastic sheet. One of the few things more difficult than putting a roof on is replacing parts that have started rotting from getting wet. You're in "an ounce of prevention" territory now. Much easier to add a bit of extra now than to wish you'd done so after everything is finished. That soup looked really good. (It needed saying.)
