  1. That tuna casserole looked really tasty. A nice choice when working in the cold. One of my favorite meals when I was a kid was my Grandmother's chicken and biscuits, with gravy naturally. Grandma made the world's best baking power biscuits and putting delicious chicken and gravy over them was an unforgettable experience. Here's Grandma's recipe: 2 cups flour 3 Tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 3 Tbsp shortening (crisco) 3/4 cup milk You can pre-mix the dry ingredients, then cut in the shortening at camp, mix in the milk, and bake until golden brown. Put some chicken and gravy over them and dine away. It's a bit of work, but you'll thank yourself after the first mouthful. PS. I had frost on my windshield this morning. Brrrrrrrrrr!!
