  1. Narrow it down to about 6 actual contenders: JD Vance, Ron DeSantis, Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy, Byron Donalds, and Elise Stephanik. I expect the ticket to include at least one of those as President or VP.

  2. Baron won't be old enough. The VP must meet the same qualifications as the President...age 35 by the time of inauguration. Baron will be 22 in 2028.

  3. DeSantis prediction: If Rubio is picked for a position in Trump's administration, he will resign as Governor and Lt. Governor Nunez will become Governor and appoint DeSantis as Senator.

  4.  @Foodisgood  All valid points. To get DeSantis to appoint Trump Jr. as Senator, there would have to be something in the future for DeSantis in the Trump administration. TBH, there really are much more valid picks for DeSantis as Senator for Florida. Donalds, Luna, and Stuebe, just to name three. Florida is FULL of excellent choices. Lara will have a tough fight to be Governor in 2026. There will be a LOT of great choices in the primary. Our AG, Ashley Moody, tops among them...not to mention Donalds, Luna or Stuebe.
