  1. IMO, I would like to see ALL states distribute EVs the way NE and ME do it. By Congressional district with the winner of the popular vote for that state getting the 2 Senate EVs for that state. We need to end the practice of 2-3% of the voters in 5-7 states deciding who the President is. The rest of us get ignored. I am NOT saying to eliminate the Electoral College, just distribute the votes in a manner that forces the candidates to address the issues of ALL states.

  2.  @syntheticbean6235  Exactly! In fact...ideally, drop the 100 Senate EVs out, make the total 436 (435 +1 for DC) and 219 to win. Then you eliminate ANY "popular vote" component. But, I am not sure if that would require a Constitutional Amendment. Changing the distribution of the EVs would not.
