  5. Canada has the population of California. Mexico has even less that can afford a Tesla. They could make the tariff 500% and all it would do is result in a shorter waiting list for Americans to buy a Tesla. By a day or two.

  21. And more Good News! Now Trudeau surrendered. He was ringing Trump all weekend like a panicked teenage girl, but Trump was too busy to answer until this morning. Trump was working on Panama's and Mexico's surrender and Trudeau had to wait. Canada folded like a cheap suit. No tariffs for now. Don't even try bringing a pea shooter to a fight with a battleship!   31.  @pvdogs2  This is not an embargo. Tesla can get the parts. Tariffs are not always passed on to customers, that all depends on other market forces. Tesla (and other manufacturers) can seek out parts suppliers in the USA and eliminate the tariffs. 🤔 That IS the intent of the tariffs. You knew that, right?

(they weren't actually going into effect until tomorrow) Mexico already surrendered. AND Panama has agreed to kick China out and work with the USA! I'm sure you're happy about that!
