This is not happening in any of the -20- 25 states that allow any law abiding citizen to carry concealed handguns without a license ALWAYS be armed.

@paige-95 NC does NOT have Constitutional Carry. Feel free to read what I actually wrote.

@paige-95 It isn't a matter of being "lazy", it's a matter of everyone being able to exercise their RIGHT without asking permission from the government. NOTHING in the Constitution gives ANY government subdivision the authority to license your rights. This isn't happening in states with Constitutional Carry because ANYONE can be carrying, not just the few % who asked permission to be able to protect themselves. 25 states have already done it, 3-5 more will do it in the next year. Why wouldn't the people of any other state be able to handle the same freedom?

@paige-95 Well, I live in Florida, and we have to have a permit (shall issue, easy to get) and, of course, I have one. I expect Florida to be added to the Constitutional Carry list in the next year. Florida has issued more CCW licenses than any state, yet it is still only about 10% of adults are licensed. If not license is required, then 100% of adults are "licensed" to carry and the risk is far greater for criminals But I just note the recent "mass shootings" have all been in states that don't have Constitutional Carry. We have liberal areas in Florida also, though they seem to be getting less so.

@paige-95 Florida is very "red" in the legislature, but only by 3% in most districts. Controversial issues tend to get handled in Governors' 2nd terms (when they are term limited) and in non-election years. The legislature WILL do it. Next year. In Florida, if there was a statewide election between everyone being a tax free millionaire or everyone having ass cancer, the millionaire choice would win. By 8 votes. After 11 recounts.
