  1. Ukraine is fighting for it's very life and is already filled with mines left by the terrorist Russians. The filthy Russians are shelling and rocketing civilian infrastructure! I think the relatively small risk to civilians in the future of these munitions is easily outweighed by the benefit these will deliver to the defense of the country. I trust Ukraine to use them in the most effective way for the defense of their country.

  2. Most of that "ping" from the M1 in the video was the clip hitting the ceramic tile floor. Not from the rifle and ceramic tile floors are not common in combat conditions. That the M1 survived into the Viet Nam era for the US and throughout the Viet Nam war by the ARVN is testimony that the "ping" was not an issue. Then again, there is a scene in the movie "The Longest Day" where a US soldier mistakes the communication "cricket" for the bolt operation of a K-98 and gets killed for his mistake. So that must be true. Right? How did THAT rumor not catch fire on the internet?!?!?

  3. For perspective on the importance of this bridge: The rail lines were not opened for freight traffic until July, 2020. The invasion of Ukraine came 19 months later, after a prolonged buildup of war material in Crimea. The invasion WAS NOT POSSIBLE without this bridge and CAN NOT be sustained without it. Russians lost the territory on the right bank of the Dnipro river (about 6000 sq. km) shortly after the loss of the bridge. The rail lines across southern Ukraine are under HIMARS fire control, along with the main rail hub in Crimea, as was evidenced by a large attack last week (March, 2023) Another attack on the bridge, at the time Ukraine chooses, will finish off the Russians in Crimea and across southern Ukraine. A Ukrainian thrust to Melitopol will cut the Russians in half with no way out and no supplies in. Russia STILL hasn't been able to capture Bakhmut! 🤣🤣
