  2.  @afcgeo882  No, he doesn't "have to be sentenced". And he will not be sentenced. Judge Juan Merchan can (and will) vacate the verdict. The trial was conducted in violation of constitutional immunities. It is no different than allowing evidence that was obtained illegally into a trial. The verdict gets overturned. It's a mistrial. Merchan, in his haste to get a conviction, ignored the objections and motions of the defense to WAIT until the Supreme Court had ruled on immunity to proceed with the trial. Trump's immunity claim had already been argued with the Supreme Court when Merchan rushed into this trial. Even the Bragg indictment was a violation of the constitution because they did not evaluate which actions, evidence and witnesses were covered by immunity. That is why Jack Smith has thrown out his J6 indictment and started over with a NEW indictment. Which also will go nowhere.

  8.  @crazysquirrel9425  He won't. Even if he is sentenced to prison (highly unlikely) he will be free on appeal and the conviction WILL BE overturned. Privileged evidence, testimony and witnesses were used. Automatic reversal. Judge Merchan can do it, or wait to be made a fool of.
