The railroad portion is still out of service entirely, (March, 2023) probably for a few more months. THAT is the important part for moving Russia's army

Good thing the Ukrainians didn't listen to you. The railroad portion of the bridge is STILL out of service (March, 2023) Your engineering calculations failed to consider the structural damage caused to a steel framed structure by an ignited fuel train PARKED on the tracks.

UPDATE, March, 2023: Didn't need to. The adjacent rail line is needed to repair the damaged one. The rail lines are, and have been, completely shut down for normal traffic and will be for a few months. Russians seem to be having trouble with getting the materials to replace the damaged spans of steel structure. What a pity. The other rail lines into Crimea are under HIMARS fire control, as recently demonstrated by HIMARS attacks on the major rail hub in Crimea.

Well, that video didn't age well. Maybe we should have had the Ukrainians attack the bridge in Viet Nam.🤷♂ UPDATE: March, 2023. The railroad portion of the bridge is STILL out of service since the Ukrainian attack on the bridge. The HEAT from the fire has structurally damaged the steel frame work and it cannot be used for trains. One rail line is out of service, the other rail line has to be used for repair equipment for the other line. I deduce two things from the attack... 1. Ukraine CAN effectively attack the bridge, using NONE of the methods you suggested. 2. They attacked it on Putin's birthday, so they can CHOOSE when to attack. 3. They WILL attack it again. 4. They will CHOOSE when to do it. Though it has not been stated for a fact, I believe the attack was done by an unmanned marine "drone" and aggravated by a fuel train PARKED on the rail line. (When your enemy does STUPID things, help them) The video evidence does not support the "truck bomb" story the Russians have stated.

For perspective on the importance of this bridge: The rail lines were not opened for freight traffic until July, 2020. The invasion of Ukraine came 19 months later, after a prolonged buildup of war material in Crimea. The invasion WAS NOT POSSIBLE without this bridge and CAN NOT be sustained without it. Russians lost the territory on the right bank of the Dnipro river (about 6000 sq. km) shortly after the loss of the bridge. The rail lines across southern Ukraine are under HIMARS fire control, along with the main rail hub in Crimea, as was evidenced by a large attack last week (March, 2023) Another attack on the bridge, at the time Ukraine chooses, will finish off the Russians in Crimea and across southern Ukraine. A Ukrainian thrust to Melitopol will cut the Russians in half with no way out and no supplies in. Russia STILL hasn't been able to capture Bakhmut! 🤣🤣
