  3. In my career (now retired) I frequently had to travel to San Francisco. This was in the 80s and 90s. I always loved the city. I would usually buy a ticket for my wife and we would stay over a weekend before returning back to work. Such a great city! Great restaurants and entertainment and one could easily see why a person would want to live there. SF was always 'weird', but in a charming way. I always felt safe, the city was really clean (for a large city) and the 'weird' people really 'fit' and were part of the total package. I would avoid even having a layover at SFO now.

  10. I graduated from college in 1973. Well before the Dept. of 'Education' existed. I did it without a loan, without debt, without my parents paying a nickle for my BSME. I landed a career...a 36 year career, not just a job... before I graduated. That career, all with the same employer, paid for my homes, raised my children and provided me with a very comfortable retirement. What has become easier, cheaper or better about education since the Dept. of Education was created?!?!

  11. I voted for Trump. I also just went on vacation to Mexico after the election. I was welcomed there (or at least my 💲were). Then I went home. See how that works? BTW 'native Americans' are neither native, nor American, but they ARE an excellent example of what happens to a society that doesn't enforce immigration laws.

  16. Best way! I grew up on a ranch and my two sisters raised chickens and sold eggs as a little side business, PLUS we had plenty of eggs for ourselves. Bring the famer your empty egg cartons, he will appreciate them. Does he have any ducks? Duck eggs are AWESOME and = about 3 large chicken eggs

  24. My wife is an immigrant and naturalized US Citizen. She became a citizen in August, 2018. They played Lee Greenwood's song at her ceremony, where she and 95 other immigrants who legally navigated our country's process achieved their dream to become AMERICANS. If you have never been to a citizenship ceremony, check with your local USCIS office and see if there is one you can attend. Americans who were born here shouldn't miss it. My wife voted for Trump in 2020 and 2024. LEGAL immigrants are NOT sympathetic with illegal aliens.

  42. I haven't been to Germany for about 10 years. I used to go there a lot. That doesn't look like the Germany I have seen. FWIW, in my American opinion, Germans and Netherlanders 'look' more like Americans than any other Europeans. They both dress more casually than most Europeans. Germany is (or was) scrupulously CLEAN, the cleanest place I ever visited...until I went to Switzerland. 🤣 I used to work in Europe and travel extensively in Europe. It's a shame what has happened, but predictable.

That is barely more than what I would expect to pay in winter when egg production is lower anyway. I look forward to the media giving Trump the credit when prices come back down (which they will)
