  1. I graduated from college in 1973. Well before the Dept. of 'Education' existed. I did it without a loan, without debt, without my parents paying a nickle for my BSME. I landed a career...a 36 year career, not just a job... before I graduated. That career, all with the same employer, paid for my homes, raised my children and provided me with a very comfortable retirement. What has become easier, cheaper or better about education since the Dept. of Education was created?!?!
